About Adriana Sjan Bijman: For three decades Adriana Sjan Bijman has been working as a photographer/artist/designer. Born in the Netherlands, she has studied art in Amsterdam and has photographed in organic farming, the women’s movements, the environmental movement and in nature. She resonates with the old European and matriarchal traditions as present in the Celtic rituals and sites. Through her images as well as in her range of photo-cards she tries to communicate the Beauty of Nature, the Divine Gift of our planet. She has lived in France, Italy, Germany and since 1998 she is living and working in the Findhorn Foundation Community in Scotland as a gardener and a freelance photographer/designer.
