Coastal erosian

The coastal landscape is ever changing. Wind and seawater wear away the shore sandy surface of the dunes. In the 14 years I live at Findhorn I have seen whole parts of the dunes disappear. In a big storm this January a whole new landscape appeared near the E’ee sand dunes, where the Findhorn River from the Bay flows out to the sea of the Moray Firth.

Cow at Loch Fada at Skye

I love tracking between the brown, peat coloured hills of the HIghlands and the isle of Skye at the Scottish west coast. There are empty left farmhouses. In the middle of nowhere cattle crossing the road, gates open. The fresh water loch ‘Loch Fada’ in the near distance. (read more on the blog) This art-work can also be seen on canvas during the exhibition in the Moray Art Centre in Findhorn, until February 2012.

Feedback on some of my work:

'Adriana opened her treasure trove of her best images for this Findhorn Calendar 2012. Such an obvious fabulous idea that you wonder why we did not have this before! !'
